Under the comic strip of 1903 can be found a set of drawings and a signature « Ruiz » from the 1895 - 1900 period. On this level we can also find the winged bull, the man on a camel and the calf. This signature proves that the drawings on the lower level were done before 1900 and correspond to the initial subject represented on the front and covered by the portrait of Woman in Blue with a Beret.
